WHO AM I?
Hi, I’m Rudy.
I’m a visual designer and creative explorer based in Indonesia. I’ve been making things for more than 15 years, working across visual design, illustration, animation, games, comics, branding, and digital products.
I’m mostly interested in turning ideas into something people can see, use, or experience. Sometimes that means designing an interface or a brand identity. Sometimes it means drawing an illustration, creating game assets, making a little experiment, or figuring out a completely different way to approach a problem.
I’m also curious about things outside of design. I like writing, photography, art, technology, games, and exploring new ideas. I don’t really want to put myself into one box. Design is a big part of what I do, but it’s not the only thing I’m interested in.

BEYOND DESIGN
I’ve been writing on the internet since 2009, so this website is also a place where I document things outside of my professional work.
I write about ideas, things I’m learning, creative experiments, photography, sketches, projects, and whatever happens to interest me at the time.
You can find my professional work here, and my more personal writing on my blog. I also write longer and more serious pieces on Medium.
I’m still figuring things out. I think that’s part of the fun.
If you want to work together, talk about something I’ve made, or just say hi, you can reach me at hello@notesbyrudy.com.
